GULF SQAS (Sustainability & Quality Assessment System) is a system to evaluate the environmental, health, safety, security and quality performance of logistics service providers (LSPs) in a uniform manner by single standardized assessments carried out by independent assessors using a standard questionnaire. A GULF SQAS assessment does not lead to a certificate but offers a detailed factual report which each chemical company needs to evaluate according to its own requirements.
The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA), centrally manages the system and ensures its integrity and success
Download the Pre-Assessment Document (PAD), the core and module questionnaires

Please note the GULF SQAS Committee have implemented an additional requirement whereby assessed companies shall not be able to

to pro-actively and transparently work on identified assessment gaps, thus following the principles of Responsible Care, to drive
continuous improvement in environment, health, safety, security and quality performance.
GPCA extends a very warm welcome to its logistic service provider members on completing the responsible care program
